Mauldin is a city in Greenville County, South Carolina, United States. The population was 15,224 at the 2000 census, 22,889 in 2010, and an estimated 25,135 in 2015. It is a principal city of the Greenville-Anderson-Mauldin Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Mauldin is located south of the center of Greenville County, between the city of Greenville to the northwest and Simpsonville to the southeast. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 10.0 square miles (25.9 km²), of which 0.04 square miles (0.1 km²), or 0.46%, are water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 15,224 people, 6,131 households, and 4,242 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,767.1 people per square mile (681.9/km²)
